It is amazing to sometimes look at your life and
remember your journey from child to adult. I truly can say that I was
blessed to have a great childhood with exceptionally loving and giving parents. All the different chapters
in my life to date have been fun
and exciting even with all the trials that come our way. I think that this
chapter of my life right now, even with the hectic schedules and daily trials, is my favorite
chapter so far! Maybe I will keep saying that through all the chapters of life!
So I guess I will just keep trying to stay focused on what is truly important
each day so that I can enjoy what the Lord has blessed me with.
Some facts about me ~
Born in Canada, but raised mostly in California. Home-schooled almost entirely
throughout my school years. It is funny how life didn't really start with a bang until I met
Jeff when I was 19 years old.
Yep, Jeff was my first and only love. We dated for four years and then finally got
married. It seemed like I was waiting forever at the time. Our first four years of
marriage were great. We traveled a good amount, had a lot of fun,
was actively involved in church, worked several jobs, and made many great memories.
Then, we got pregnant and God blessed us with our first baby, "Zachary."
Being a parent for the first time was so amazing no one could have ever
explained the love you have for a child. Last year, the Lord richly blessed us
with the birth of our second child. This time a girl! Our little Alexis. It has
been so awesome to have been blessed to raise a boy and a girl. Becoming parents has brought us so many joyful days and... I won't lie... we have had our
share of overly exhausting difficult days also. You moms who have 3 or more are
amazing!!!

A few facts about Christine
- Favorite movies - Pride and Prejudice (the 6-hour long
BBC version); Though None Go With Me; It's a Wonderful Life; Ever After; and,
Far and Away.
- Favorite TV shows - 7th Heaven; American Idol; and, So You Think You Can
Dance.
- Favorite all-time dinner - Cabbage Rolls (this is my birthday request to
my mom).
- Favorite dinner that I eat regularly - Taco Salad; Salmon; Oriental Salad.
- Favorite restaurants - Baja Fresh; Pluto's; and little bistro coffee shops.
- Love to plan anything (Events, parties, daily grind, etc. Sometimes too much;
I am working on that).
- If you don't already know me, I am an outgoing, type A,
personality.
- Hobbies - Digital Scrapbooking (love it, love it, love it), Baking, and Cooking.
- What makes each day better - Exercise!!!
- Favorite place to buy clothes - TJ Maxx.
- Favorite flavor ice cream - Chocolate or Cherry Chocolate.
- Biggest pet peeve - Driving (I really don't like to drive; just being
a passenger is okay with me).
- I like to clean and organize when I am stressed. ;-?
- I like to garden. Fresh tomatoes are the best.
- Christmas is my favorite holiday. I start decorating the second week in
October.
- I listen to Christmas music October - January.
